Last February 23, 2004, our beloved
Chairman, Mr. Alfredo G. Pacho takes his oath of membership for the
Philippine Quality & Productivity Movement, Inc.
The objective of this organization of
volunteering advocates is to help in promoting Quality and Productivity
in their sector and to some extent possible to the country, adhering to
the constitution and by-laws of the movement and thereby making Quality
and Productivity a way of life.
His support to this organization is
being maintained such as helping the movement in sponsoring programs for
conferences, a venue to encourage more participation from various
sectors. This is because they realized the big challenges posed by
internal conflicts and external threats that beset the country today.
They aim to build on the unified efforts of various organizations
towards quality and productivity, agree on a results-oriented quality
and productivity program to be implemented by all organizations while
influencing other sectors of the society so that more could truly be
benefited and provide a forum for CEO’s, labor, media, academe, student
leaders and all socially responsible corporations and organizations to
share tested principles and approaches in promoting quality and
productivity.
Being active to the movement, he was
elected as one of the of the Board of Trustees for the year 2005 last
March 7, 2005 during it’s 24th General Membership Meeting and
Election of Board of Trustees.
