From the Desk of the President
As we celebrate this New Year, we move forward with trust in the power of our spirit, confidence in our purpose and enthusiasm with our goals.
Let us accelerate our plans to improve more efficiency of our operations. Strengthen all the programs that have been generated for all sections, after all these are significant to our company’s development. We will step up our programs and we will strive to produce more goods at a higher quality and we will make strenuous and on-going efforts to be more disciplined in all that we do. Labor and managerial productivity must be lifted also markedly. And all of these should also be accompanied by strong cost cutting strategies that are necessary nowadays. I appeal to everybody to become more serious about the cost-saving programs as the economic climate continues to deteriorate. The economic outlook has worsened. But do not think that we are only the one who are affected by this slowdown. Even some of our business partners and other entities are facing considerable uncertainty. Let us show that we are survivors in this battle.
We must make our work enjoyable. We must not be afraid of hard work and enterprising business activity. In this year, we can keep up the momentum and keep our company moving. If 2008 was a year of optimism, then let us consider that 2009 can be a year of achievement and success. Inconveniences can be overcome if we set about them with a “will”. We need to make our own initiatives now, solve our own problems and take our own opportunities.
